He's a Jack Russell Terrier we bought yesterday. What's his name? We cant decide.
Would you try, please?

Awwwww absolutely adorable! How about Scruffy? Maybe Shuttertalk... hehehe

I love Jack Russell's, had one for 12 years..... I called mine many names, none I am willing to repeat here LOL.
They are one of the smartest dogs I have ever come across.
Aaaaaaaaah! Awwwwwww! How cute! He's gorgeous

I'd call him " Tipsy " - not 'cos he's drunk but because of that dinky little pink tip on the tip of his cute little nose.

I thought I would thank everyone for their suggestions, but inform you that my wife has now named him "Widget".
It seems to suit him quite well.
DOGY dog

Hey Widget is an awesome name! I approve!

Widget is a great name.
I recently tried to take photos of a friend's 3-year-old JRT, and every shot was blurred. I can't imagine that as a puppy.
I've always thought that I'd name my next dog "Taxi".
Almost impossible to get a good picture of a JRT, they are like bottled lightning. To add to the fun, my dog hated to have anything pointed at her, cameras included but especially aerosol cans (traumatised by a puppyhood fleaing!)
Here's a really old picture of my JRT, by this age she was arthritic, diabetic and almost blind.

Yes, these terrier puppies are very awkward customers.
Widget has a black face, (as you'll have seen). It makes corect exposure just a little difficult.
Add to that the greased-lightening mobility factor, and you have a real challenge!
I can see that you know your dogs. They're mavellous creatures though, dont you think?
What about a flash bounced to the ceiling?
Your picture looks beautiful and I like the treatment too.

Yes, bouncing flash helps.
Thank you very much for your most generous comments!!
