John
I like the angry look on #2. He is thinking "if I were still a dinosaur, you would be lunch..."

{edit} Well done by the way!
Really nice!
As you've blocked the EXIF, any chance of a detail or twain? 400mm plus?
All shot with 50D, EF 400 f/5.6 USM lens @ 400mm, spot metering, handheld, ISO-400, some ISO-800
Thanks!
Really stunning..and darn well-metered!
Oh dear...am starting to yearn for a long prime now...Tongue
Hi Janika, how nice to see you again, these bird photographs are great and amazing. Well captured, I loved them all but the second one much more! You captured this looking very well, as if will come up from my screen Smile

Super set. Thank you,
Blessing and Happiness,
with my love,
nia
These are very sweet John...
I also admire #2 because more often than not when I take this kind of pictures my peak is not in focus... you did really great here. Smile

All of them nicely exposed as it was already mentioned ...
Thanks for the comments, I use spot metering and center focus point only and always try focusing on their eyes.

Merry Christmas to You all !
Well done.
Don't know the first pair, but the second pair are Great tits, the third pair are Chaffinches and the last one looks like a house sparrow.
Stunning photos - love the two yellow ones and the one straight after them.
Thanks for the comments guys! The first two are grosbeaks, but in Europe, they are called something else...
In Germany they are called Kernbeißer ... Smile
Thanks Irma, Happy Holidays to you too.
