This is something I used to do every time I go on a trip by car. This time I got something I like. I tried to represent what I experience in a long trip by car... ups and downs, the same landscape passing by... green, green, green... boredom and speed....Hope I achieve what I wanted.

Thanks for looking...

Number 3 is very nice Irma and the others all contribute to the feeling you are trying to express.
Thanks Chris for your comment...

specially in #3. Someone said that for this image (in particular) I didn't need to take pictures as a graphic program could do it as well.... :/

Of course it could, but then .. is it a photograph or a graphic picture?
You can do just about anything with PS. et al, but, at the end of the day, it is what
you want people to see.
If they were part of a series or similar type shots, then on a wall (framed) they would look OK.
Some of our holiday apartments have similar themed artwork, and others have tripe. ('Tripe' being a polite name for rubbish)
For me I neither like or dislike your photo's, but as always they are different.

Excellent series. I like them all very much with #2 bring my favorite. I will try to leave a more meaningful critique after I have a chance to digest them a bit.
Thanks NT,
different is great to me...
Thanks Toad..
I was really surprised by #2 as it was taken with a very slow shutter speed and still the red line looks sharp...
I read that most of the times this kind of pictures represent mathematical equations... I tried to think and crop and give values to the colors, but I am not really good at mathematics, and I didn't know how to do it, so I thought it was best to leave it as I like it.
My only post processing was with colors and contrast. Only in #1 I added some textures.
These are an interesting photographs dear Irma, you had a wonderful results, I liked them,
Thank you,
with my love,
nia
I find that I really don't have much to critique. A few random thoughts though...
#1 is my least favorite. The colors and tones are very nice, but I don't stick with it for long - my eye moves along.
#2 is my favorite - simple, crisp, and seems meaningful - even when it has no surface meaning - very well conceived and cropped
I like #4 - this one feels like #1 wants to be...the criss crossing lines on the silver object (wheel?) add a lot of interest to the abstraction.I also like the higher contrast.
Thanks nia...
Thanks Toad, for coming back and give your review, it is very kind of you...
I found from the beginning that #1 was not matching fully with the series. The color palette is quite different, and the out of focus subject make it too different from the rest of the series where I have sharp forms and lines.
I am very optimistic about this series specially with your comment about #4. I like a lot the lines of the wheel, and I have to show you my favorite result, when it resembles toothy mouth of a monster! Those are the best!.
Even if it looks like a snap from the window, light, speed and color of the lorry take their part in the outcome of the picture... I will be trying in my next trip.
Thanks again all for your kind comments and very helpful reviews...
