Don't you just love review roundups? This one is courtesy of Dpreview, and they're looking at superzooms - basically compact cameras that have huge (non-interchangable) lenses bolted on, making them not so compact anymore. But you get the benefit of a do-it-all unit in a convenient package that is significantly smaller than a DSLR. Having owned one in the past, this is very close to my heart.

Anyway, no surprises in the conclusion - the usual candidates crop up: the Nikon P100 weighs in 2nd place, while the Canon SX20IS and the Panasonic FZ35 share a equal #1 spot. Apparently they are on par in terms of image quality, although the Canon handles better and the Panny is more compact.
