This one is quite funny - apparently someone's gone and taken a look at the EXIF info from Sony's WX5, TX9, and T99 compact camera promo shots, and finds out they were taken using a Canon 5D Mk II! 
On a similar note, Panasonic apparently produced their G2 commercial using a 5D Mk II as well.
To be fair, they probably used an agency to produce these shots/movies and they have their own preferred equipment - but still, some may infer that they don't trust their high end products well enough to use for their internal photography. Ha ha...
