I am working in this post processing but the colors of the fruits change a bit. I would love to know what you think about the post processing and the color of the fruits.

Thanks so much for your help.. Smile
The colours of the fruits seem very realistic I can see raspberries cherries blueberriesor bilberries with that blue bloom they carry, and redcurrants.
When you've finished photographing them make some jam. They look delicious. Oh and the peach? looks a little orange/sort of pink.
Composition wise, it feels a little busy to me, but everything as to pp is excellent.
Irma, I agree with much of what NT is saying. Besides composition - your usual strong point but the most obvious limitation of this photo, I find the white background unsuitable. Not only is it too bright, but the objects on this background seem to have a faint black halo-like outline - one of the first things i noticed. The peach and some of the leaves have strange colors. The peach seems orange and some of the leaves seem to have pinkish cast, while others look like after bleach bypass (sort of contrasty desaturation - traditionally achieved by not using the bleach to leach out silver from the film.). Back to the drawing board, I think. I have no doubt that your next fruit post will blow me away, as your photos usually do.

I find the composition quite sublime. Every piece has obviously been placed with care and consideration and it totally works for me. I also greatly admire the post processing. This seems like a logical extension of you little label with text from the other day.

Well done!!
Thanks all for your comments. They are all very much appreciated... Smile

NT:
I thought that an arrangement with so many different fruits would make a busy composition, so then I tried to give some room to the edges and leave just two steams going out. I have prepared my jam for next year. I bought these berries only for my pictures. I don't normally cook or eat the fruit I photograph. I develop feelings for them, (I know it is kind of silly and crazy, but..) so I let them quietly get old and dry and then put them in the compost.

Pavel:
I thought about this still life as part of my autumn stills I do every year with apples and nuts. They are warm and dark. I thought about something different for this season and fruits. The outline is part of the treatment (still trying my illustration kind of relieve feel post processing) and I could do it thanks to the light I used to take this picture that flattens the subjects but still preserve highlights. I tried in my setup to work a circle of color the orange (peach) dark red brownish ( cherry) and then the blue. I used the red to give life, balance and support to my composition.

I used the green/yellow leaf as a background of the orange and the pink leaf as background of the blue. I also used the lines of the steams as a gentle contrast from the circles of the fruits. I look for leaves that gave me so kind of gradient. I use the pink leaf in another picture with the blueberries, it worked really fine.

Toad:
You are right, from this picture came the idea of the label. I tried two more picture with only the peach and only berries and this was the picture I found more charming and colorful. That is why I think the red is the support color in this picture.

Thanks again... Smile
