Dpreview have published their in-depth review of the Nikon D7000. Apparently they were very impressed with the high ISO performance - claiming that it was arguably the best high-ISO performance in a APS-C DSLR. Just from the specs alone it looks like it's a successor to the D90 in every respect, and in some areas beats the D300S as well.
