DSLR Photography Forum

My old camera that my wife uses has a dead pixel which appears now on all shots as a red blob.
Is there a way to make an action to remove it. i.e. cloning the next couple of pixels over it. Or something similar.?

Quicker way would be as you suggest using cloning tool set to "replace"(assuming Photoshop)...or just with one hot pixel, easier to use the patch tool. I use the latter a lot with my filthy sensor! Seemples.
