Hello my name is Nikola, Im shooting a nightclub event tonight and i DO NOT have an external flash i will be using my pop up flash equipped with a GARY FONG pop up diffuser and my lens hood. I will also be using a stock lens. (18-55mm) I will be shooting in manual like i usually do but what should my shutter speed, ISO speed and aperature be set at? Someone help please, would be much appreciated, oh and my camera is a T2i.
Don't worry about the flash - looks crappy anyway. Set your ISO up high - 1600 at least and get close with your apertur wide open. Wait for the spots where the subjects are relatively inactive (or accept the motion blur).

After seeing this old post I just couldn't help wondering how it all worked out for him that night. I've seen some real disasters happen with nightclub shots but then again I've seen a bunch of amateurs get great results with cheap gear... you just never know.
Care to share some of the said disasters?
