This year as an alternate, the following year as a full judge. This is I believe the most respected international competition held in Canada
Congratulations.

They are probably fed up of you winning. Angel Big Grin

It must feel like winning a gold medal at the Olympics. Cool
Fantastic! Hopefully you will be able to share some insights into judging and also competitions in general.Smile

Julian, I have been an accredited judge for Toronto clubs for a few years and judging regularly for a number of clubs. However this is an international competition and some of the best photographs are entered there - I expect a tough job judging a lot of truly outstanding photos. I expect that all of them will have their craft done perfectly (Properly exposed, sharp, acceptable composition... etc.) and so it is likely going to be all about creativity, impact, telling story through a photo and such difficult to rank issues. Most of the club competition entries have clear limitations on the craft side and those are relatively easy to judge. I am now in a club where essentially all submitted photos are essentially flawless when it comes to craft and so critiquing in our club is a good preparation for this judging.
Awesome. You'll certainly have your work cut out for you – that's a big competition.
Congrats Pavel, that's fantastic news! Smile
Nice one - and it's awesome to be in such exalted company

sounds like it's not going to be an easy job - gl! Smile
