If you haven't heard, Hasselblad announced the Lunar, which is basically a rebadged Sony NEX7 with some gaudy facades plastered on. For the privilege of the H logo you get to pay $5000 instead of $1000...

Lensrentals have put out their take of the Lunar and have called it the Looney...

I think especially in this economic climate people are not easily taken for a ride. If it uses the same internals and produces the same image quality then no amount of carbon fiber and hewn aluminum is going to make people pay 5x as much...

This reminds me of those crystal encrusted iPhone cases or the 24 carat gold iPhones that sell for 100,000 and everyone rolls their eyes at. At the end of the day it's still does the same thing...

And, it's ugly.
