This looks to be an interesting site. My username "bikinkawboy" is derived from the fact that I bike (motorcycles), I ride Kawasakis and I also farm where I raise livestock here in north central Missouri. I've been snapping pictures since I was very young. The first camera I used as an old bakolite Brownie that used 620 film. At 12 or 13 I bought a Polaroid Swinger, the old, shap the shutter, yank out the film, count for however long you thought ideveloping would take and then peel back the outside layer, hoping you had the exposure timing right. I then had something that took 126 film, then used my dad's 35mm Zeis Ikon. I was into biking by then and ungraded to a 35mm Vivitar SLR and an assortment of lenses over time. My first digital DSLR was a Nikon D40 to replace my light leaking Vivitar and shutter sticking Honeywell Pentax. This spring I got a Nikon D5100. I drag along most of my camera equipment when I take a long bike trip. At home I like to dabble in shooting macro photography, lightning, and very cold weather snow scenes. All this auto programing on new cameras is nice, but all my SLRs were fully manual, so doing things the old fashioned way isn't a problem. Never too old to learn though and I hope to pick up a few pointers here.
