Hi all. Im lisa. Photography has been a hobby of mine for a few years now. Scenic shots are my favourite as i live in the country and love trudging about outdoors. Over this time i've achieved some shots that i am really proud of. The thing is that i've always just been an aim, fire and hope for the best photographer. Lately i have had the opportunity to up grade my humble little lumix digi to a canon eos1100d and have decided it is now time to learn the actual science and art of photography. It would be a total shame and waste to not learn how to get the best out of my new toy and make it reach its potential. This means i need a lot of tips and advice lol. The first thing i would like help with is shutter speeds iso and exposure. I love the silky effects on waterfalls etc that i have seen but have no idea of how to achieve different effects in different situations. I will be extremely grateful to anyone who will take the time to explain this all out in simple terms. Thank you

Thank you. That's a big help :0)
Welcome Lisa! I can't wait to see what photos you come up with. I like that you are an aim, hope, and fire person lol. My Rebel has all of those fancy setting, but I have yet to use that part. I leave it on auto. I'm a lazy photographer.
Welcome welcome!
