I am a bio-medical forensic photographer (ret.)

I now concentrate on straight forward general photography of my surroundings:

My equipment is Sigma period !

I work in Raw and large .jpeg formats and fiddle as little as possible with the original.

My blog is called "From the roadside" because that's what it is... I'm too lazy to get off my bike or out of the car so I park where I can get the picture I want.

Picasa is my editing tool... it's free and I see no need for "graphics" level power for the work I do.

I give my work away under certain conditions.

I've never tried that photo editing program, I use Lightroom, Photoshop, and Photomatrix but I think I need to look into it now.
