Sturnus Vulgaris - Common Starling.

Noisy birds but quite agile. Taken with the Panasonic TZ27. Still experimenting.

Very nice! Thanks for sharing! Love the contrast!
Thanks Barbara G.
Very clean shot. What lens is that?

It is a Panasonic Lumix TZ27 P&S pocket size camera with a 1/2" sensor and 20x/40x zoom. Lens is Leica elmarit.
No point me having a mobile phone so this more or less, is a carry everywhere.
Not as good picture quality as the LX5, which has a larger sensor but only 4x zoom.

Same model as this one but without GPS.

It also shoots square format? Or is the framing a habit taken from the LX5? Smile
No, sorry its a small crop to hide the window frame and clothes post.
I normally shoot 4:3 or 3:2. Depends if I am mixing shots with the Canon.

...and for a minute I actually thought you were outside and freezing to make the photo Big Grin

Love the bird Smile
No, I don't like cold weather. I've ordered a central heated coffin for later. Big Grin

If I open the door the birds fly off.

Thanks for the comments.
