Hello everyone ,

I am new to the forum and look forward to contributing in some way.

Started photography last year , about August and then ended up with a Nikon D600 earlier this year and lots of headaches. Each move forward reveals another problem. First it was finding the on switch on the camera . Then I finally managed to get some reasonable photos lately .

Now I find my laptop's memory has been eaten and had to resolve that this weekend . Now its time for Lightroom 4 and my brain is hurting whilst I try to move my Aperture catalogue to a remote disk and more headaches.

I blame my oldest son, he is a keen photographer, film and B & W. He suggested taking up photography, I suppose its his revenge .

Glee,

Hello and welcome to the forums! We are glad you are here and hope you will make yourself at home here! Take your time learning and try to enjoy it along the way if you can! Photography in a sense can be a very theraputic hobby in a positive sense!

Sadly , little help from my sons , both into photography, I am in London , my eldest is in the Royal Navy and the youngest is at Uni in Amsterdam. Must have been the cooking that made them leave!

Thanks for the welcome , much appreciated.
