Hi,
I'm a new member and have just purchased a Canonet QL17 III 35mm film camera. These were popular during the early 70's I think. I only paid $35 for it and only had to have the light shield replaced. Otherwise it is in great condition. The main reason I bought it is because its 40mm fixed lens is a f/1.7.

Does anyone have any comments about this camera and/or experience using one?

Thanks,

Tom G

I haven't used but some of my friends did and got great results with it. That lens really is amazing. Great speed at a wide enough focal length for general purpose shooting. At 35 bucks it was also a great deal. Have fun using it and show use what you get with it.

Thanks for having me. By the way, how do i go about filling out my profile - can't seem to find anything to "Click" on.

Hello Tom,

You should see a little icon in the left hand corner that says "User CP." This is where you can make changes to your signature, profile, ect. Let me know if you need more help! Thanks!
