Hello people, My photographic interest was aroused in 1968 when I joined the Navy. My mum packed me off to basic training with a second hand Pax Ruby 35mm range-finder camera and told me to send her plenty of photos! In 1970 I upgraded to a Konica AutoReflex T SLR, the first SLR to have TTL metering and auto aperture control. The rest is history, or should have been! somehow life, career, wife, kids and beer all seemed to claim priority over my time and photography took a back seat.

I came back to the hobby about 10 years ago and dabbled with digital compacts. I upgraded to a Lumix bridge camera about 5 years ago and enjoyed it immensely whilst cursing it's shortcomings. Now there is no excuse! I have the time and some excellent kit (IMHO), so I have joined your ranks in the hope that you will collectively assist my learning process. Things have changed an awful lot since I first picked up a camera!

Cheers
Keith
Hello and Welcome to shuttertalk KeithB. Ohh.. I miss this Konica AutoReflex T SLR. My father used this SLR when I was so little. He thought me how to use it but didn't get to understand it back then. All I want is to get a clicked on that shutter. Smile But one great bonding we had back then in photography Smile
