DSLR Photography Forum

Hi, I am a complete novice when it comes to DSLR photography and have a feeling I will be completely out of my depth here.

I have had several Digital point and shoot cameras, but never an SLR and am at present wading through the menus (many of which are Greek at the moment) on my new Nikon D3200. I am really looking forward to getting to grips with this, but at the moment feel completely dim.

As an aside I have to tell you that my husband thinks I am completely mad. I'm hoping to prove him wrong

Don't worry, I'm new here as well, but the residents are a really friendly bunch and VERY knowledgeable. They go out of their way to be helpful and constructive. You'll feel at home in no time at all.

Great to have you her Yorkshire. I think I would agree more on your husband, most photographers are completely mad getting those image out Why don't you prove him right and but with a twist giving him fantastic image
