No idea. Not a car person LOL. Seems I need to learn how to clone. But cloning out the adjacent car would be very difficult

Frankly Brian, yes you should be. 'Not being funny', but, Ed is particularly skilled in this 'image manipulation' malarkey and consistently performs 'wonders to behold' which seem to defy any logic. Somewhat like the alchemists of old, turning lead into gold, Ed turns photographs which are really nice, acceptable images into something amazing and pictorially stunning. The man's a wizard at it, no other word describes it so accurately. Just to add salt to the wounds, he's a first class photographer as well !!

Still, the upside is that he keeps those lesser mortals amongst us, on our toes and aiming higher that we otherwise would.

Best regards.
Phil.

Alvis story, about mid 60's.
Making a 16mm sound film for a local firm, they had designed a press, was successful. Needed a location shot in Alverston,Cumbria, had to be a specific day, commitments meant we had no car, the gave us the works Alvis. I did the wedding, boss went to Alverston. All OK but on the way back he ran out of petrol, we had been told there was enough. country road, very heavy rain. He walked about a mile, no raincoat, soaked, garage gave him a gallon in container, could not run him back. When he returned to garage to fill up, chap said he had little sympathy for him, letting the reserve tank run dry!! When asked further, he leaned into car, and worked a switch, gauge showed it, the reserve tank, was full!!! Obviously we were not made aware of this.
Trivia, when film was ready for sound track, Boss was in London area on holiday, when it was recorded, so went to see it being done. Commentator was an up and coming news reader, fee £75, no matter how long it took, he did it in first tale, film was 20 mt.s long. Richard Baker. I had super weather for the wedding!!!! Ed.

Thanks Phil,
Lovely, I'm a great fan of Alvis, (as is the Duke of Edinburgh I believe).

1951/2, a workmate's friend had one. Came up from London to see him, winter time, plenty snow. When he left, the snow was prolific on the ground, many cars near him were abandoned, where the could get no further. Sid, got into Citroen, started up, gave us a wave and went up the street as normal, several onlookers astounded. I had front wheel drive explained to me. Ed.

Legend had it that Citroen would pay anyone who managed to 'roll' a Citroen without artificial assistance £100. I have no idea if this legend was true. A friend, one Mike Slim, had a Light 15 and a Ford Pilot V8 in the 60's. I was so jealous!!!!!!!!!!!

Brother had a V8 Pilot. If he had a flat tyre, pushed a button, internal jacks lifted the car!, some machine. Ed.

Super car, but not a patch on the Citroen for roadholding. Nevertheless, my father had a 'thing' about American cars - I remember going with him to a local farm to view a Studebaker - he didn't buy it in the end.

Good capture. Try working on Shadow/Highlights, there is a lot of detail in the background, that comes out nicely. Ed.

A really good image there Kevin. Well composed with great clarity, capturing the frantic activity of a 'pit stop'. Well done, it's impressive.

Used CS4's Shadow/Highlight control, I made 2 presets, some time ago, that suited me, used one of them, then sharpened slightly. could still improve probably, this was about 2mts. max. Ed.
