So I just bought a cheapish camera & I've only done photography on my phone up to now (attached photos) limited what I could do a lot, mostly did macro style images but wanted to expand my range a little. Watch this space! Tongue
Hi Olly

I also am a novice to photography. Have bought a Nikon D3100 with 18-55mm and 55-300mm lens. Your photos put me to shame more especially as you took them with as you describe a cheap camera.

My opinion, for what its worth, is that you have a talent for composition and frankly you have inspired me to look closer at what I am doing.

Well done
Kind regards
Graham
Hello and welcome! These are some nice shots for a phone camera! Or, are these taken with your new camera? Welcome aboard and please let us know if you have need of anything!

You certainly have a photographer's eye!
Now you just need to learn a few of the technical aspects, like exposure and depth of field. You're composition is already pretty good.

Welcome!
