Can I ask, if an image is within the time scales but has been entered in an earlier month, can it be entered a second time?

Hi Phil, Thank you so much. I love trains and remember the old steam locomotives in the U.S. prior to 1950; lovely memories. And, of course, there is nothing like British Rail, is there? In 1977, the first time I went to the U.K., I took the train out of King's Cross (1st class no less, where we enter our compartment directly from the platform).

And, one day several years later I was standing on the platform in Grantham en route cross country to Lincoln when a non-stop 125 came barreling through; frightened me out of 10 years growth. And riding on the 125 was an experience all by itself. Haven't been back since 1991 and I miss it. But, as a famous soldier once said, "I shall return".

Thanks again Phil!

Hope fully these will appear now. I have tried to post before and have asked how to post twice but have not had a reply.

Not worked, any chance someone could explain how to pst images?
Snow Forest I happened upon the snow falling in this forest and it appeared to be snowing in area's yet not others. It was such a different perspective from the norm of a snow day.

This was taken in Litchfield CT during a snow storm in a Conservation. Taken with a Nikon D300, ISO 200, SS 60 F11 with no post processing other than a bump in Contrast.

Just posted comment in thread from other question. I apologize that I have been sick the last few days and I am getting caught up on the questions in the forums. You can always send me a private message as well. Thank you.

Here are comments made earlier in the thread. Hopefully, it answers your question. You should be fine as long as they are posted within the correct thread...

Hello - I have seen that photos are being posted before the start of the month. The purpose of the contest is to get more people involved here on the forums and share more quality photos.

We will look at all entries since the contests are new for us, but if it comes down to a tie breaker in photos - posting following the guidelines of submission can come in to play in determining the winner.

Hope this helps you! Please let us know if you have more questions!

Thanks!
Barbara

I am seeing the photos just fine from Brian. What browser are you using the view the site? And, are you using a laptop/desktop or something like a tablet, iPad, and so on? We will do our best to help you figure things out.

Hi this still does not work.

First link is from 2004.

I have tried the second link method and it says my photo is too large and your site says the image has to be 100KB max. My image is 1024 kilobytes.

Surely this is some mistake or am I missing something. Any way I did post a link 2 two images via a link to 500px, hope this is OK, no one has said it is not?

Are your other entries within the time frame specified? If so, since you are having so many issues, we will allow it. We are not ignoring you in your question; if there are multiple questions we try to catch them all, but sometimes impossible.

Okay - does anyone else also use 500px site? I not a computer guru, but I am wondering if the site disallows the photos to be shared elsewhere. It is possible something could be written in the code of the site. Not sure, though. We will work through the issue. In the near future, if I have some spare time I could upload some pictures on the 500px site to play around with uploading to this site, but not sure the results will be any different.
