DSLR Photography Forum

Hi all new to this and am revisiting photography after a long(30 year) break so really its all new. I come from Eastbourne and am currently attending night school classes in digital photography.

Hi Barrie, I live on South Harbour. If you ever fancy joining 2/3 of us doing photo-buddy meet ups (in better weather) drop me an email. A good and kind male friend organises a few local meet-ups for us and we're always happy for others to join - no pressure on expertise or kit - its nice not to be on your own sometimes! I hope you enjoy the forum. Welcome aboard.

Hi there yes be good that I was down there yesterday doing my assignment for my night school course its full of photo opportunities so as I say yes we can meet up soon as the weather warms up a bit,Barrie

Ok will post some at the weekend but don't expect to much!!Have just dipped my toe in the waters of RAW so looking forward to trying that as I do enjoy editing and printing my snaps regards Barrie

I am Jim, a newbie when it comes to photography less then 2 years with the past year a more serious attempt to learn the art. Originally had a camera to record travel vacations, moved on to birding photos and now just trying to learn how to use the camera in various situations and types of pictures. I live in Southern Ontario, Canada which does lend itself to a wide berth of photo opportunities, although right now they are all based on snow. Right now I shoot with a Canon Powershot SX50HS.
I see this forums as a place to learn and look forward to doing so with the forum's help.
