Took this shot late one evening in Bath. The original was very dull so I turned it into mono & then coloured the ivy in photoshop.
Canon 70d. 10-22 mm lens.

Nice - others may deride this as 'gimmicky' (happened to me) but this is a nice job and I like it

Thanks for the comment & yes it is gimmiky but if the overall effect is pleasing does it matter?
well, I don't think it's gimmicky at all - just quoting others - it's a technique I use a lot, and I like it a lot - your shot is not only a nice shot, but also a clever use of the technique

that's the pic I meant - the crit stopped me posting any more of these 'colour-splash' pics as I thought the response was a little over the top...
Where is this place? Is it in your own house? Indeed very good projection.

No unfortunately it's not my garden it is Bath botanical gardens about 5 miles from where I live.
