Took these at the weekend. A little cropping was done to get rid of other birds.
1. f5.6, 1/2000 sec. ISO 500, 250mm focal length
2. f5.6, 1/2000 sec. ISO 250, 250mm focal length. CC welcome please.
Hard to believe those things become swans.... nice series.
Bit late Jane. The first one I would make upright, the background id a bit distracting/overpowering, an improvement, to me. The second one, the focus is on the foot, misses the cygnet, but, there is something about it!! ?? Nice captures. Cheers. Ed.

Hello Ed, I will try to make an upright of the first one. The second one was deliberately focused on the males foot. I thought it gave a good perspective of how small the baby was. Also I liked the claws coming out the end of the foot.
