and one more
Several of the boat shots have quite distracting backgrounds so, for me, this one is better.

Even so, I would clone to simplify - less is more - and apply a dose of contrast! Smile

Cheers.

Shoreham College Chapel on a November day,

Thank you John this bilding is very close to where the Shoreham air show cash happened, which was a sad day for all involved and our thoughts are always with the families.

John, I an more than, quite pleased. Ed.
Good tones and contrast, lovely textures and details in the sand, water and clouds, interesting foreground and background.....but you haven't told us where it is, John?

Cheers.
Philip
Sorry. The image title is Firth Of Forth from Kirkcaldy 26-9-13.
Hi John
I am not fortunate enough to have sliver efex, I'm told it is very good for processing black and white images, what is your opinion?

Pete
It is brilliant. You can download a 30 day trial of the Nik Software here.
I use Dfine for Noise reduction. Sharpener Pro for raw and output sharpening, Viveza for colour manipulation and Silver Efex for the odd B/W conversion. I am still working out exactly how to use the other packages to my best advantage.
