Not seeing an image due to two reasons:
First is when you put code in Code tages, it doesn't parse the code, it will display just what is entered between them.
The second is that the link is in HTML format, needs to be in BB Code format instead. The BBCode is typed into the editing window just like normal text.
To get your image to display in the thread you would use:

To make a link to the image I would use:

Make longest side about 2000 Pixels, file size about 900Mb. No larger.
When you are in New Thread, write what you want, then click on Choose file, at bottom left, go from there. If you are posting a pic to another post, click on Reply, the same box will come up. Ed.
