I would put a bit more contrast into this and sharpen it, also consider cropping it to "Lower" the plane? Makes a difference, to me. Ed

This looks like a good capture, especially if the assumption that you were hand-holding and panning the camera is correct.
With regard to the image, Ed has just beaten me to it. It does look a bit light and soft, particularly when viewed at full size. I like the composition as it is, but reduction in brightness, increase in contrast and saturation, plus some gentle sharpening, does help to improve the scene for me:
