Craig, that's fantastic.
Thank You.
That is beautiful! Excellent Shot!!!
Very impressive Craig. More so, if you click on it and make larger. Ed.
Nice honest looking image-not the usual "drama added" view of the Canyon... Kudos!

Kind regards

Rolf
As this is the critique section, Craig, I'm hoping that you won't mind an alternative view.

The title of the image probably dictates its content, but the really interesting part for me is the left hand side, with the wonderful layered rocks of the canyon. The viewer is led into the canyon by the foreground (the rim, ridge and strata), but I think there is just too much of it. Also, the interesting left side goes very dark, as though a vignette has been added.

So if it were mine, this is the sort of crop I would try - just another point of view, of course. Smile

That's why I post in the Critique section.
The square shape has, to me, lost the impact. Ed.
You're right, Ed - I have just tried to use what is available. Ideally, from the original viewpoint, I would like to see a 3:2 or 16:9 with more of the scene on the left hand side and less of the right. Smile

Cheers.
