Here is one for you to get your teeth into, on the day that the bridge reopened for traffic (thank goodness, the diversion added an hour on my journey last weekend).
This shot was taken a year and more ago.

An interesting composition, John, but I wonder if it were possible to move right, then it might have been better to see the shot including the whole of the far tower. The bright day could have been beyond the dynamic range of the sensor - the clouds have a bit of a blown highlights look about them, and there are some almost featureless dark regions, e.g. the bases of the towers and the trees near the shore. However, even in this small JPEG, more structure and detail can be revealed by recovering the highlights and shadows in software.

Cheers.

Because I shot in raw, both the highlight and shadow detail is available. I set the white and black points to 255 and 0 (I used to use 245 and 8 and might go back to these values in future). The photo is taken from a small viewing gallery. You can move further right

but as you can see there is shrubbery in the way. There is another choice of viewpoint, but it requires a bit more of a walk. I will take a similar shot from there the next time I am along.

Another tack, I did warm it a bit, just to be different!! Ed.
