Thought I would try something a little different today, so here is a shot taken about a year ago, of a ship lying off Kirkcaldy, waiting to move up to Grangemouth or Braefoot Bay.

Nikon D80, 1/2000 sec, f5.6, ISO 250, 450mm lens equivalent.

The more I look, the more I like, stark, simple, a hint of colour, one of your best John. Ed.
Great image, very nicely composed and love the textures. The only way to improve it would be to wave a magic wand and change the weather.... though weather I would want more fog or a blue sky is hard to decide.
I have tried several skies, and the original still looks best, to me. Ed.
