three years ago in Jamica we were treated to some spectacular sunsets and a couple of nights this guy would turn up and play his sax as the sunset, good memories of a wonderful island.
Used Canon 5D my first dabble with canon, and 24-105 f4 L IS
1/50 f22 ISO100 105mm
Brilliant image. You should have put it into March's competition. It would have been a surefire winner.

Wonderful shot...I am thinking about switching to RAW, how did you process RAW to get that wonderful shot there and what format you use to post.Wes

Hi Wes what processing softwear do you currently use, for example lightroom or photoshop?

Thanks John glad you like it, I had not considered this for the competition.

Wes I do not know anything about the Nikon free soft wear, but I would assume that it would be able to process RAW, there will other members who will be able to help you, throw it out there as and see what happens.
Lightroom would be my choice.
I had a play with Nikon NX-D, and it is rubbish. It is enormously system hungry, taking seconds to move sliders. It is not an intuitive interface. Perhaps with the manual I could make something of it, but I struggled to do anything. GIMP 2.8, open source and free, is far easier to get to grips with.
Great image here, love it.

I process my RAW files in Photoshop CS6 and using Adobe Camera Raw. I make adjustments WB, exposure if needed, satuaration etc in Camera Raw before opening the image into CS6 for any cloning, composition adjustments before resizing and finally sharpening.
