Here is a high ISO shot of Dysart harbour again. What do you think?

John, the first thought is puzzling - why would you do this as it looks very noisy? Was it just for an experiment or to create an art form? A basic principle is to get as much of the available light as possible to reach the sensor, and that could have been done at base ISO for this scene, while still freezing any motion and giving a full depth of field.

That was my experimenting evening, when I took a roll of Hi ISO shots to see how they fared with different lighting/contrast effects, and how they coped during post processing. However, in that shot, I felt it added an "arty" look, hence the reason I kept that one.
Noise ruin it for me, sorry. Maybe a full monochrome conversion?
B & W makes it noisier to me. Ed.
Probably will, but I find it more tolerable in monochromatic images.
Here is the Monochrome version.

Better, to me. Ed
Yep, love the monochrome one Smile Nicely Done.
The mono conversion is more appealing, but the strong noise reduction has smeared much of the detail in the image. Perhaps a more conservative approach would be preferable?
