I like the idea of the shot, and the vantage point is very good - you're getting a lovely shot of a beautiful scene but with the added bonus of something happening in the scene, too.
Two things to come to mind however. Firstly it's a bit soft - I'm struggling to find where the focus point is. Neither the buildings, the girl, or the kite are sharp. Secondly that vast expanse of pure blue sky is a bit much for me. I love the idea of the kite being that high - and maybe if the kite was sharp it would work, but as it stands I feel there's too much sky.
Regards
Derek

Great conception Wes, again, a small file to work on. Shot like this needs to be seen as an A3. Still no succes sourcing Software. Google are giving away Nik Collection, free, available as Mac, but needs a platform to work from, worth pursuing. I did over sharpen a bit. Ed.

What I have done is squared the horizon, reduced the saturation slightly and increased the local contrast (to try and remove some of the softening).

Nice work Ed,I will be looking at that.

You do not need a platform from which to use the Nik Software. I often use it straight from my ACDSee cataloguing set up. You can use it as stand alone, though usually it is used as a Plugin.

John, as a stand alone, does it show as a programme, since I have P/S assume it loads as plugin's, as I see no Programme listing. Ta . Ed.

Wes, a good capture that benefits from a smaller sky and gentle sharpening.

Ed, you need to look for the .exe files for the separate programs, which are in the subfolders of the Google folder in C:\Program Files.
Cheers.

Thanks Philip, I had found this, tried the first two, no success, did not try any more. Installed Nik on another 3 Win 10 Computers, tried, and worked. Went back to original, tried some more, some yes, some no. As it was running on XP, investigation seems to indicate problems. I have XP/Win 10, on Desktop, Duel Boot. and since Nik is now on both, am happy. I still use XP Pro, most of the time. Antediluvian Ed.
