The shot is fine, John - it is where it is.
If the image were mine, I would remove the slight magenta cast from the surroundings, increase contrast on the water to give it more texture, and crop 16:9 to reduce the featureless sky.

Philip, that version works for me. I set the white balance on the superstructure hence the slight cast on the distant background.
