I use Medi@Show - it is pretty good.

I use ACDSee for slideshows, nothing special but it gets the job done.

What kind of slideshow? I use ULead's DVD Workshop for wedding albums and photos for clubs to display.
My favourite photo screensaver is the one that comes with Windows *grin*

For pocket pc users -- I downloaded SplashPhoto yesterday (offered free from Handango for a limited time, usually $9.95) and must say it's pretty nifty. It's a slideshow/photo management app that runs on the pocketpc, and also a desktop companion.
What's nifty is that you use the desktop companion to sync images between the device and your PC, and it automatically resizes and allows edits on the fly. No more manually copying files across, and its easier to have up to date photos on your handheld.
Just my 2c

Thanks for the tip, I'll go grab it.
