These guys are about as popular as Jacko's gulls to some. Others appreciate their remarkable navigational skills and the large variation in markings and colour that they display.

Good effort, particularly at the zoom level. Bird seems elongated/panoramic, is this as seen. Cheers. Ed.

Great observation. Thanks for comments.
I think that the elongated look is due mainly to the rather poor angle at which I took the shot. I was shooting from above the bird and slightly to the right of it. The bird , on the other hand, was sitting on the ground and pointing slightly to it's left. That's my excuse anyway.
Should have known that you would spot it. Wink

Hello Mike a very good capture indeed. So you prefer to use lightroom more?

Thanks for your comments. As for lightroom, I progressed to it from Elements 10 and am still on a learning curve with it. Google Nik software is also present as a plug-in.
