As some of you know I enjoy playing in a band (and solo) and I enjoying taking photos of other bands. Gig photography is fun :-)
Last night we did a photo session with a local group, not at a gig, bit at our photography class.

And here's one of Denver, the guitar player, cooling down before getting back under those hot lights.
This time, same camera and lens, but now at IS0 1000 because I opened the lens to f/1.8 which also gave me 1/640th of a second SS.

Love these, I tried shooting some gigs a decade ago but the camera just wasn't upto it, would love to try again with the 5diii.
Now I need to go visit my Brother in Law next time he's got a gig!

Mr Therwell in monochrome!! I've never thought of Denver in a black & white way before. Well done Derek.
