Found the latest addition to the Trentham Estate today. It is a rather attractive bronze of Capability Brown.
FZ-200, Manual, 1/100 @ f/4 ISO 100, 15mm ( 90mm equivalent ). Guidance welcome.

Regards to all,
Mike.
Nicely captured, in what looks like it was pretty harsh light.
As Craig has written, it is very strong sunlight and you have captured the statue well. Did you use fill-flash?
The background is probably needed for the context, but perhaps the sharpness there makes it a bit distracting. However, the depth of field of the small sensor might not allow it to be more out-of-focus.
Cheers.

With Philip, that's what I was doing! Ed.
Thanks for the comments Craig, Philip and Ed.
The light was indeed fierce and I might add that the temperature was rather cold ( - 2c ). I used a CPL to reduce the effect of the sun's reflection from the statue. It was a mass of extremely bright highlights. No fill-flash was used but I did increase mid-range tones (shadows) in Lightroom.
I took the shot in manual @ f/4 since f/4 is the sweet spot on the FZ200. I could have gone to f/2.8 and gained some background blur, but at the time I was happy with the composition.
Cheers Guys,
Mike.
