I bought a Manfrotto Art028 Pro Tri-pod from a guy at work for $75.00 Cad. The cheapest I could find this one for on the net was $249.00 Cad at Henry's in Toronto.

Did you buy it for the studio? Seems like it would be heavy for trekking.

Oh absolutely for the studio. It weighs just under 10 lbs. He was into studio photography a few years back and had the thing in storage. It isn't in perfect shape esthetically but functionally it is. It was just a little dirty, no scratches.
