DSLR Photography Forum

recently a Facebook group for my local community has formed, and they have started doing a weekly online scavenger hunt, last weeks had 5 subjects. Scissors, a decorative item, fruit, something from the bathroom and a tea/coffee cup.

I left everything to the last minute and then last night spent a couple of hours knocking out some images, this is what I posted:

All shots are with a Canon 5DIII, first image with a 24-70 f/2.8, the rest with a 150mm F/2.8 Macro lens.

Scissors - 1/250's, F/4, ISO 160, 70mm, 3 Flashes.


Scissors #2 - 1/250's, F/6.3, ISO 320, 150mm. 3 Flashes.


Apache Indian Wedding Vase - 1/250's, F/4, ISO 320, 150mm. 4 Flashes, 1 with a blue gel.


Peach Cutaway - 1/250's, F/4, ISO 320, 150mm, 3 Flashes.


Peach slice Detail - 1/250's, F/3.2, ISO 320, 150mm, 3 Flashes.


Bathroom item - 1/40's, F/10, ISO 320, 150mm. 2 Flashes.


Coffee Cup - 1/40's, F/5, ISO 320, 150mm. 2 Flashes, 1 with blue gel.
