hi Don
Hope Im wrtting in the wright section...if not ignore.
In my previous post i said i really like this and you have improved a lot from previous pixs. Well now you need to start paying attention to small detaisl and giving that extra little to have a great fantastic shot.
Ok... in this one is the lamp post, If you could have moved extra few meters to the end of the street and get more trees and the sun. perfect!
Also i can see that you are shooting a lot of sunsets and landscapes, why do u not byt ursef a graduated filter so that them you can get a more balance expose and more detail on the sky. maybe a graduated grey or smoke?
Hope it helps
Thanks you fro sharing the photos
Regards
Christian

Thanks Chris:
Not to excuse imperfection, but just so you understand. I shot this from a bus passing the street. I usually shoot pictures on the way to work. I really can't get out, not at least until have my pension and can spend the time. I don't have a graduated filter. I'm using a P&S digital dressed up like a real camera.

Hi Don,
Studying your picture now in this forum, I obverved that the post-processing was very nice, and the picture has an interesting road in the right corner. I realized that it made me sad because of the colors, gray days make me very sad... and I have a lot here
I tried to brighten it a little and I came up with this. Don, this is more a personal opinion than a merely technical... probably I am not totally right, but like this it looks cold, which I suppose was your intention but a little more friendlier...

Wow! I really liked some of the color changes. Byrt. I really liked yours.
I will say, I'm a creature of the North in the sense that sadness is my stock in trade. I don't even like bright sunlight. But the richness you gave this shot with your suggestions really impressed me.
