hi kitty
first is the focus. dof. not sure you have focus? looks like somewhere on the ground, and you have such nice composition and all. it looks like you wanted the first log(2) to be in focus but the camera focus it in between in the ground(1)
i would also crop a bit as the light at the back is a bit too much.

Hope it helps?

Yes it does. I struggled with this and did crop it but I see what you mean. It could use more of a crop. Maybe I should have went for a higher f-stop?

Great concept, Pet-o.... agree regarding the focus... an out of focus foreground is a bit hard to bear.

I like your picture a lot! Very nice structure. That log with green mould stains is beautiful. I would suggest you, if I may, trying to take the picture when the structure doesn't have many shadows and lights. I think if it is completely in the shadows, you can appreciate it better. Perhaps another time of the day?

A bit OT, but I keep wondering why the fence was built that way??

A fence like this could not be built in a straight line and be sturdy.
