My birthday, right?
Two gifts which may interest you:
1/ The worlds cheapest 5 string bass roundwounds.
Yes friends, £6 a set! £6!!! I put them on my AXL plank, as it had an incurable intonation fault, and guess what? Fault has gone! Strings have a sort of "coarse" sound, but I rather like it!
2/ Funny rubbery things.
......On the ends of Koss earpieces, that is. Something called "THE PLUG" :o .
It's Koss phones with a decent 10-20k fr, and interchangeable shaped squidgy "plugs", which swell in your ear. They block extraneous noise and deepen and extend bass frequencies. Lower volumes are needed too, so battery consumption drops.
They havent fallen out yet, but I've missed breakfast, lunch, supper, and all telephone calls!
