off to uni now ..

So I'm sittin' here bored thinkin' to myself 'What's laying around that I can take a strange photo of...'

And this was just sitting there in my hand!!! Can you guess what it is?


Two hints:
1) The pic is a close-up.
2) Yes, it's been doctored - but colour only.
(Looks kinda like that IR effect someone was after.)

No idea mate... what is it?
