I am;
now, what do you define as Christian?
One who follows Christ and His teachings?

There are some other religions who recognise Christ as a prophet and also believe his teachings, but that doesn't make them Christian
Maybe if they admit that Jesus is the Way, the ONLY way

He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:
Rich S. <--- Child of God

hi ... i accidentally saw this site while searching for
LCD technology. was hesitating to register coz am not really
a photographer but an electronics engineer .. (have a digital SONY cybershot
camera though
.. lives in Manila, Philippines
very fond of reading christian books especially on spirituality
and scriptures (OT and NT). heard of Da Vinci Code but have
no plans of reading it ..
like peter, i am Christian and Catholic ...
no intention to offend fellow Christians due to some differences
in beliefs ..
as for the question of what is a Christian .. i think not all who
teach/follow what they think Christ taught are Christians .. the common
denominator of what i consider Christians is the belief in
1) one God, 2) the Trinity and 3) Divinity (fully God and fully human) nature of Christ
4) salvation through Christ
this is all for now ...have to go back to my research on LCD drivers ...
(just in case, anybody here who knows anything about TFT LCD drivers ?)
will drop by again some time
God bless u all ...

The way my church is heading, that's almost the same as "Lutheran."

Confirmed non-believer. That said, I will fight for the right of everyone else to believe in what they want to.

I'm a member of the worlds largest non prophet organisation. Although I'm still young enough to sit on the fence

I've worked out that the vagueness is either old age or that it would take too much time to go into why I'm not vague especially on the beliefs side of things.
Breaking the first two commandments in the name of Canon wouldn't put me in the good books either!

Hey Shuttertalk,
If ever you get to proceed with your plan to go to the Philippines, email me
and if i am not busy, glad to be of help to you in navigating manila.
Sorry i might not accompany you outside manila like the famous boracay (haven't
been there myself. I have reached more places outside the country
Lastly, has anyone here familiar with the church called "One Tree Hill Community" in Adelaide Australia ? Only met my Professor and never really saw their members but they prayed for me when i was hospitalized for 1 month in Modbury Hospital, Adelaide.
I have been longing to visit my friends in Adelaide.
but cant due to financial constraints.
ciao ..
