I like this picture, but I think there is problem, something is not right, and I can't figure out what it might be.
Do you have any suggestion?
Thanks in advance.
Irma.

Hm... I think the house is too hidden...
I dunno... for me it lacks some sort of subject, or a strong enough one.
Gotta agree with St on this one Irma.

I do love the foreground though - the patterns of lines across the field. It's very nice.

You know it is something that it is itching

... probably it is a nice picture but I need to find a nice treatment.... I will see what to do... to make it interesting ...
Thanks a lot to you both for the comment

I think a tighter crop would bring the subject (the house) "out" a bit more. might i suggest removing most of the top of the picture, right down to the roof line of the house. it would give the photo an air of mystery, like... "I wonder what's inside that house in the woods?"
hope you don't mind my take...
the house now occupies more than 1/3 of the picture emphasizing it as the subject.
I was thinking about a crop but I never thought about cropping this way. I don't mind you take my picture, At the contrary, I thank your comment and the time to took to make the crop and post it.
By the way, that misterious mood would be nice. I was thinking about a horrifying shadow in the field or something...
Thanks again Patch...
Hey good idea, Patch!
By the way, moving this thread to the Fix Me Up/Photoshop Playground forum.

Thanks for moving this thread ST.
hi Irma, I have taken a crop to remove some of the trees to the left and make the dark windows come more into play as part of the subject. Going with your feeling that some thing is not quite right ..........I changed the colour in the channel mixer untill I got the feeling I was after. "that uneasy something is not quite right ,feel" I hope you know what I mean........ :|

Thanks Russt for your try. You did it very nice, because you cleared a lot the dark parts. I like the crop, as well.

I hope everyone will forgive me, but I suggest flattening the image, such as:

I think your try is very nice Don. Your colors are brighter than the original. It looks better. Thanks for your idea
