I'm sure he/she is a cute little pup, but this photo is not very flattering... I think it's to do with the eyes.

Apologies for the harsh comment - but this photo was in the critique section... just my honest opinion.
Perhaps you could try avoiding harsh direct flash - especially at such close range...
I appreciate the comments, yeah I agree with the flash, way too harsh
