Left the campsite at around 7:30PM and walked about 750 metres along a bush track to the entrance to the cave, down into the first chamber and rigged for a 30 metre abseil. After abseiling into the main chamber we set off to explore some of the more interesting and well know areas, lots of bats throughout the cave, lots of bat poo too, also plenty of slimy mud in places.

At around 10:15PM we call it quits and start the climb back up the rope, some using Dumar mechanical ascenders and two of us using Prussic Loops for the 30 metre climb.

It seems that every time I have good intentions to get some good photos I either run out of time or am too busy because I am leading the party, I promise I will try and set aside some special time just for myself, some time soon.
