Hi all,
I have not posted in the forums before, so hello.

I would appreciate you opinions on this shot.

Thanks

I like it. Composiiton and exposure is excellent. I also like the color manipulation to make this photo something other than a straight sunset capture. As in all sunsets, I like a strong foreground or foreground sillouhette (sp?). This has both. Well done!

BTW: Welcome to Shuttertalk.
This is gorgeous. I love the color manipulation although I think the solarization around the beach is a little too obvious.
Welcome binglefish, and a great first post! I like the job you've done with both the capture and also the manipulation to the image. The composition and position of major elements in the frame work well and I like the reflection on the sand especially. As with Toad, the unusual colour makes this one stand out...
Thanks guys.

The only colour manipulation I did was to equalize the histogram on each colour channel individually . This had the effect of pulling the blue right up
I probably went a little too far.
I took this one a few minutes later from a different spot, and different exposure.
There is no manipulation in this at all. I love the monocromatic look of this one.

PS. It's realy cold at dawn this time of year!!
great shots........ the colours in the first shot is excellent, something different....... Cool
I really love the second shot, excellent.
Lovely shots. The colors in the first one are great - blue and yellow, complementary and yet going so well together.
